Financial educators: The HoweyTrade Investment Program Classroom Activity | Investor.gov, is a 30-minute activity that gives students tools to be more discerning consumers of information. It features a video that “promotes” a scam investment and then a second video that highlights the tactics used by the scam artist and steps your students can take to protect themselves from bogus investments. The activity also has a turnkey PowerPoint presentation, teacher’s guide, worksheets, and related investing quiz. Investor.gov also has a Teacher’s Page, Investing quizzes, and educational handouts for your students.
