World Investor Week

What is World Investor Week?

World Investor Week logo 2018

World Investor Week is a global campaign promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to raise awareness about the importance of investor education and protection.  During October 1-7, 2018, individual investors, investment professionals, teachers, parents, researchers, and other interested individuals - as well as firms, regulators, and organizations - are encouraged to make a special effort to promote investor education and, in particular, World Investor Week's key messages.

As part of World Investor Week, IOSCO securities regulators and supporters across the globe will provide a variety of activities, including launching investor-focused communications and services, promoting investor education initiatives, organizing workshops and conferences, and conducting local/national campaigns in their own jurisdictions.

The SEC (national coordinator), CFTC, FINRA and supporters are working together with interested government agencies, localities, and organizations to promote World Investor Week and its goals in the United States.
