Recruitment
The mission of the SEC is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and to facilitate capital formation. To support this mission, the SEC seeks to hire highly qualified staff in all of its major occupations including: attorneys, accountants, economists, examiners, paralegals, and support professionals (administrative, human resources, management analysts, etc.). The SEC strongly encourages individuals with disabilities to apply to posted vacancies.

It is the SEC's policy to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with disabilities. Accommodations enable individuals with physical or mental disabilities to have access to employment opportunities and public programs equivalent to that of non-disabled people.
